I’ve had my hair cut in Washington DC, in England, and in a half dozen US states but today I got the best haircut of my life from Sylvia. Have you ever left the salon wanting to cry because you were so happy with how your hair turned out? I now have.
I presented her with a head of coarse, longish hair and blunt bangs. Most stylists will reach for the thinning shears or razor to take weight out of my hair. It gives my hair a nice shape but leaves my ends looking ragged. Sylvia gave me the most flattering haircut I’ve ever had (she clearly considered my face shape) and she did it without shears or a razor. My ends are beautiful. Even my bangs make me happy and curly girls don’t often get to say that about their bangs.

Kiley is amazing! She has been doing my hair for almost 5yrs and I will not go to anyone else. I love how she listens to my ideas and makes them better. Chadd is the only stylist that has explained to me how and why he cut my hair in a particular way. I have VERY Curly hair and he teaches me how to work with my hair and love it. He knows the latest styles and makes you feel like a Diva when you leave. Thank you Chadd for spending the extra time with me to help me appreciate what I have! You are great at what you do!
Jaimee has been doing my hair for two years now and always leaves me looking fresh and fabulous. My cowlicks make my ‘do a nightmare for the folks at the chain salons, so I met Jaimee and won’t be going anywhere else! I’d highly recommend her if you like looking good.
I have really long hair and didnt really know what to do with it- Michael gave me a great cut that is ridiculously easy to manage and very flattering when worn a number of ways. He also fixed a twice-screwed dye job from evolution salon. I’m super happy with how the red color turned out. Officially the only colorist I’ll go to in portland now. My hair feels and looks much better.

I have the thickest hair in the world, and Sami Jones is seriously the best thing to ever happen to me! My husband is super picky and he adores Sami, plus he feels comfortable going to this salon because its super kicked back and the beer doesn’t hurt either! Best stylist at the coolest salon! Highly recommended!
I just wanted to give a big THANKS to all of the girls at 77 Salon. 1st, you are all amazing at what you do and 2nd, I love the atmosphere you have created at your salon. I love coming in and chatting, laughing and sipping vino. I even stop by to say hi when I’m in the area and don’t have an appointment! A special thank you to Mackenzie for last minute blowouts/updo’s and coming in on her days off:)
I had my first bikini wax with Heidi. She was fantastic. Very professional and I was very pleased with the results. I will be back to see her again and again.
